Do me a favor. Everybody take a moment to go over to
this guy's blog, and tell him, "Thanks for keeping Ray's mother's blood warm and stuff." His name is Chad. He's a perfusionist I work with. He ran the heart/lung bypass machine for my mother's surgery, and he's always joking about how his blog gets no traffic. So go and surprise him. Cuz it would be funny.
The only other reason I'm posting today: I've been thinking about my future. Daydreaming really, about what it's all gonna be like, you know? And in the midst of my nostalgia, I cannot help but wonder -- do you think Honda will let me dress Asimo in armor?*

Thanks for the props, Ray.
I pray that your Mom's recovery goes as well as her surgery did.
Done.
I agree, Asimo is much cooler in the armour.
Yay, I love surprising people! I'm on my way...
(He looks much better in armor. It slims his thighs, which, let's face it, is an important thing to a robot.)
I don't think Asimo is strong enough to handle the armor. It's best to fillet Asimo and re-skin him in some aluminum armor. Like he's wearing some kind of Edgar-suit.
Chad and Carrie - You're welcome for the props. Thanks again for a job well done. And enjoy the traffic (just don't let any of 'em in your house).
Tracey - Thanks for going first - you're a doll. And that's not a short joke.
Vivi - Yes, I had noticed Asimo's 'thunder-thighs'. I wasn't gonna say anything, but...
Blackbird - I like your idea, although, 'fillet' is an intimidating word. Let's just say we're gonna 'slip him into something more comfortable' and leave it at that.
Ahh daydreaming are we? The whole visualization thing, very very good. As for the armor, I am wondering more on why you want to do that?
I thanked that dude. I also told him that he needed to be mean to you once in awhile or else you'd get a big head :)
Ha ha
I can't think of anything else to say about your entry. So....
Don't fear your inner cannibal
Does he even need armour? He looks pretty darn invincible now.
Actually, can I wear that armor? Because that would be cool.
I thought it was a couple of those action figures you still play with.
ray,
your blogroll isn't rolling--just thought you'd like to know in case your wife decides to update her blog...
Perfusionist sounds like a music-maker, which I guess in a way, it is. :-)
