Armed with only a shovel

There's a road out there somewhere, and it's up to me to find it.

Edited to show you this:

Because I feel the subject's expression was organic to a discussion of the emotional impact of the piece.

Quite the winter wonderland outside my door right now too. Glad I have two young lads to do the shovel wielding for me.

If I don't see you beforehand, hope you and yours have a great Christmas. :)

Our snow is melting. Super excited about that.

I know, us too! I think we're under the same snow cloud, aren't we? Hubby shoveled our driveway early and a half hour later there was already another three inches down. Crazy!

I wish you well in your quest! (I'd suggest the first robot be equipped with a plow.)

Someday I'm going to remember to buy a snow shovel. But here, we only remember that we need them once the snow has already fallen. I wonder if I have enough margarita salt to cover the whole driveway.

All we got was ice. We prefer snow.

Best of luck to ya and stay warm!

Frank - I wish I hadn't had to go to work, cuz then I'd have had some of your 'belly warmer'.

Sarah - Do you get shoveling depths in Missouri? Cuz if not mabye I should start looking at real estate.

Vivi - I think we were under the same cloud. Was yours kinda white? With like these white things falling out of it?

Amy - I LOVE your robot idea. And your margarita idea. You're like a good idea person.

Mary - Ice is the worst. I hate ice. And I hate people who don't seem to realize that ice is slippery and try to pass you. Did I mention that I hate ice?

Elizabeth - I'm saving Michigan anyway. I don't know about Canada. You guys get mad snow.

Blackbird - Seriously?

Can I borrow your robot? We've run out of room to shovel the snow.

My general perspective on snow is similar to my thoughts on leaves.

Snow will melt - why shovel it?

Leaves will eventually blow into my neighbor's yard - why rake?

Of course, my perspectives are different from my reality in which I tend to shovel and rake.

Tracey - Nothing would make me happier than to have a snow-removal robot to lend you. Could you just imagine the intense cool-osity?

Bryan - I hear you, man. Those are the exact same thoughts that run through your mind as your doing the shoveling and raking.

I've seen this expression before, except I think we called it the....evil chipmunk? Is that right? I think if I dug long enough I could even heave out with some adolescent pictoral evidence...!!!!
